Newsletters - Summer Exercise

Summer is here and we are all very fortunate to be living in the Bay Area where summer offers us great weather every day. But are you taking advantage of all the great sunshine and fresh air that is available?

Summer is usually the easiest time to adopt a more active lifestyle for many reasons. Weather is great. Cold wind and rain are not around to deter us. Kids are out of school. Picnics and BBQs are common. There isn't big holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to throw our routines off.

So what exactly is a great exercise to take up during the summer months? The answer is anything! Healthy exercise does not have to be a regimented routine with your personal trainer. You don't have to deal with the "no pain, no gain" mantra. It can be something as gentle and relaxing as a walk around the neighborhood.

Do you recognize the picture up top?

It's taken near the top of Mission Peak in Fremont. It offers a great place for a day hike that is just a short drive away. You can still clearly see the city if you don't want to venture too far from the Bay.

We at Dynamic Medical Center recognize that regular exercise can keep you healthy in so many ways. It's great for stress, healthy heart, weight control, and of course, it helps your body stay loose and aligned!

The doctors and staff at DMC will always be available to help you with your various ailments. But what we can do in our clinic is only one part of the solution.
